Yoga, a sandskrit word meaning "unite" or "connect", is an ancient art of harmonizing body, mind and spirit. In yoga the ultimate aim is self-development and self-realization.
Awareness is the secret of yoga. Everything you do becomes yoga if it’s done with awareness. Yoga allows you to be more aware of yourself and to feel connected.
A yoga practice makes the body flexible and strong (yin/yang), thus increasing your staying power. It also improves your respiratory, digestive and hormonal systems and can bring about emotional stability and clarity of mind. Think of your yoga practice as a means to realign and rebalance your body… inside and out.
Our classes appeal to all levels and can at times be challenging. If you are ready to be challenged, this might be for you. As in life, there is no growth without challenge… and facing challenges on or off your yoga mat are just opportunities to grow and learn.

"Yoga doesn't ask you to be more than you are, but it does ask you to be all that you are."

A Private Yoga Session creates a personalized and customized yoga experience specifically for you.
It begins by answering the question "What would you like to get out of your practice?" and builds it from there. These sessions are specific and unique to each of your needs, and encourage you to build a home practice that you love.
In consecutive sessions we will check your progress so that together we can review, correct and make changes or adjustments as necessary.
In these private sessions, it is my sole purpose to support your progress and personal transformation.
"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." – The Bhagavad Gita

Jill began her yoga practice over 20 years ago and offers holistic, nervous-system–informed yoga in Regina, Saskatchewan.
She was initially drawn to yoga while recovering from a hip injury caused by repetitive strain and quickly experienced not only improved strength and mobility, but greater mental clarity and emotional steadiness.
Now a 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor in Regina, SK, with thousands of hours of teaching experience, Jill brings an embodied and practical approach to her classes. Yoga became a foundation for resilience; supporting both the body and the mind.
In her yoga classes, Jill emphasizes the connection between mind, body, breath, and nervous system. She guides students to work with the mind during practice, learning how to regulate attention and respond to sensation with awareness rather than reactivity. This helps students develop tools they can use on and off the mat; not just to relax, but to self-regulate.
Jill offers accessible, grounding yoga classes in Regina designed to help people slow down, reconnect inward, and leave feeling more balanced, clear, and steady.
